Who We Are

Abbott Castle

Owning dogs and working with animals has always been a massive part of my life, but it wasn't until I brought home my black Labrador Retriever, Mason, in 2020 that the world of dog training opened up to me. With Mason, I began to accrue knowledge in competitive dog sports and professional dog training.

Over the years I have worked dogs from all walks of life, helping owners rehabilitate their dogs through behavior modification training to teaching new puppies to be good canine citizens. Maintaining a personalized approach to dog training to fit the needs of each specific family is my passion.

My dogs are titled in multiple AKC sports including Dock Diving, FastCAT, and Obedience and myself, personally, I have completed the Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers Online Course as a certified dog trainer.

My journey with dogs began in 2021 when I adopted my first from the animal shelter I worked as a part-time kennel tech for. Back then, I had no idea how much a little border collie mix named Arizona would change my life. Now with my golden retriever, Nevada, and my standard poodle, Cirice, by my side I work to show pet owners the fun side to dog grooming!

Breed standard grooming is my passion, preserving the history of purebred dog breeds and the reasons behind the clips and cuts they're kept in. But mixed in there I love getting to let loose with creative designs from dyed tails to leopard prints!

The world of dog grooming is ever changing and evolving so in order to keep up to date with modern grooming science I am a regular attendee of the US Pet Pro Classic grooming education conference. I have completed the Fundamentals for Groomers course and maintain Membership with the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists.
